Ride

A much-anticipated return to a regular ride on the calendar.

New route north past Santa Rosa toward Healdsburg was great. Particularly enjoyed that west-side northerly half (some of which is common with the Levi’s Gran Fondo).

Mostly foggy-cloud-cover felt flat and uninspiring. Rest stop sandwich lunch from Panera was epic though. Power it home.

Gear notes

• Nice to get the Defy out and stretch its legs. Love the road feel of the Schwalbe Pro 1 on Hunt 44/54 and the Richey Streem II bars.
• Full-finger Giro DND gloves from Ornot nice coverage in the mild temps.
