RBC hosts a fantastic ride. Big clockwise loop from Palo Alto up over the coastal range out to Highway 1, with quality time under the redwood forest canopy and some big climbs.
7days 460miles 33000ft. Our second Cycle Oregon classic is all about getting to the Southern Oregon coast. We have all the experience gained from last year’s adventure, a bunch of new gear and a year of preparation. We’re ready for everything… nearly.
24-ish hours of riding over seven days. 460 miles, 19,000 feet of climbing, 17,000 calories, 18.75 mph average, 45mph max. Temps from the low 30’s to the upper 80’s in sun, rain, snow, wind, and then sun. Too many prairies and not enough mountains. Pulled many pace lines. Met many, many characters and made some new friends.
